The spot where Existence Dance Festival will happen, is a protected natural zone near Olerdola Natural Park. The landscape of Olerdola Park is distinctively Mediterranean, composed with oaks and white pines. The big diversity of vegetal and animal species, some of them unique in the world, makes you feel in a enchanted wood that will welcome us in one of its magic valleys. The coastal location means a typically Mediterranean climate with infrequent, but torrential, rains (sept-nov.) and mild temperatures in spring and autumn, temperate winters and hot, dry summers. The Olerdola Park has borne witness to a long relationship between mankind and natural environment. Dominating the countries of Penedès and Garraf, was a strategic point occupied by man from prehistorical times until the Middle Ages.
